Unpaginated and printed in three columns. Union occupation newspaper with an inside printing of a summary of President Abraham Lincoln's second State of the Union Address. "The President's Message" begins on the second page beneath the title "News From The North." This Address focuses heavily on Lincoln's support of an amendment to the US Constitution ending slavery throughout the United States forever through "Compensated Emancipation."

Condition: Roughness at the right edge and light toning throughout. Old horizontal folds are present, with only a few tears to the top and bottom edges. Fine condition overall.
