Benjamin Harrison: Large 1888 Sarsaparilla Advertising Poster. 28" x 42" scarce poster featuring portraits of William Henry Harrison and Benjamin Harrison, dated 1888, along with their trademark log cabin. The poster doubles as both a campaign item and advertisement for Warner's Log Cabin Sarsaparilla. The manufacturer claims it will cure a litany of popular ailments, and is sold by all the leading druggists. Printed by Copack & Company of Buffalo. The large size definitely draws attention to the graphic and colorful visual impact of this impressive display piece!Condition: These are usually found with extensive heavy staining. This one has only scattered light discoloration, confined mostly to the extreme margins which are full. No tears or creases, colors remain bold and vibrant. The poster would benefit greatly from professional framing which could easily conceal much of the edge discoloration should one find it distracting.
