San Francisco, California; Saturday evening, April 15, 1865, Vol. XX-No. 7; Monday evening, April 17, 1865, Vol. Vol. XX-No. 8; and Tuesday evening, April 18, 1865, Vol. XX-No. 9. Each is four pages and measures approximately 21" x 27.25". Unpaginated and printed in eight columns. Disbound. All three issues contain headlines, thick black "mourning rules," and long detailed coverage of the assassination of President Abraham Lincoln committed by John Wilkes Booth.Condition: Integral fold has some adhesive remnants from when bound, that still holds the three newspapers together. Light scattered toning and staining. A horizontal fold is present across the center of all three newspapers from edge to edge.
