Description
Ulysses S. Grant: Portrait Painting Oil on Canvas. Impressive 22" x 26.5" (sight) oil on canvas of General Grant in military uniform, framed to an overall size of 28" x 33". The portrait appears unsigned, however, an excellent likeness ready to hang and enjoy!Condition: Minor craquelure, a small abrasion in upper left field which does not seem to penetrate the canvas.
Provenance: The painting sold at auction in 2020, and was represented to have been consigned from the estate of the great niece of General Grant.
