Description
Theodore Roosevelt: Pair of Delegate Badges from New York. Unusual pair of New York delegate badges in support of TR for President. The first badge measures 2 1/4" x 3 1/2" and has a jugate celluloid of Roosevelt and Fairbanks. The celluloid reads "Republican State Convention Saratoga, N.Y. Sept, 14, 1904" The drop is suspended by a metal hanger with celluloid inserts. Westchester County is a wealthy community just outside the New York City limits. The second badge measures 1 3/4" x 2 1/2" and has a sepia single portrait of TR.Condition: The jugate has a couple of light age marks, the small badge is excellent. A fine pair.
