[Abraham Lincoln Assassination]: Rare Executive Mansion Funeral Pass. A very desirable piece of historic ephemera from a sorrowful time of national grief after the assassination of President Lincoln. A 3.25" x 5" printed pass on thick paper stock inscribed, "North. Admit the Bearer to the Executive Mansion On Wednesday, the 19th of April, 1865." Such passes were issued in very limited numbers as the Executive Mansion funeral observances were limited to officials and dignitaries.
