Description
Abraham Lincoln: 1864 Ferrotype on Rosette. 18mm ferrotype of "A. Lincoln." in a roped brass frame, affixed to a red, white and blue silk rosette with three ribbons below, one inscribed "Union" and another inscribed "Constitution".Condition: A few emulsion bubbles not affecting portrait. Loss to two of the ribbons. Looks great. We know of only two other examples, one glued to a board and the other with heavily soiled ribbons. Finest known!
