George Washington and Benjamin Franklin: Pair of Gilt Brass or Bronze Statuettes. Pair of 15" tall statuettes with standing figures of Washington & Franklin on plinths, sitting atop a square marble base. Franklin holds a tricorn hat and a scroll reading "Laws of Pennsylvania". Washington holds a scroll reading "Declaration of Independence". Light wear to highlights. Likely made in France for export to the American market, circa 1850. A handsome pair.
