Landon & Knox: The Very Rare Black and White Real-photo Version of this 1¼" Jugate. The regular version, scarce in itself, is a "faded" tan color, as made, and does not begin to compare aesthetically with this crisp design. Only a small handful in black and white are known, and it may be that they were manufacturer's samples, never produced in quantity. However, this leads one to wonder why the unattractive tan version was issued in much greater numbers. Condition is choice on this key jugate rarity for generalists and Landon specialists alike.
