Neil Armstrong's Personal Apollo 11 "One Giant Step For Mankind" Vintage Images Portfolio, Directly From The Armstrong Family Collection™, CAG Certified. A 10.5" x 9.75" leather bound portfolio featuring eighteen 7.5" x 7.5" vintage color prints of the historic mission. These iconic images include the pre-flight "white spacesuit" crew image, the Saturn V launch, multiple in-flight photos, and stunning shots of the lunar surface experiments. Each print has been mounted to its own individual gilded edge page. Across the front "One Giant Step For Mankind" has been stamped in gold as well as the date July 20, 1969. This is the first of these portfolios we have offered, the fact that it was owned and kept by the mission Commander considerably elevates this album's desirability.Condition: Light age-related wear to cover, scattered soiling, interior pages and prints very fine.
Provenance: Directly From The Armstrong Family Collection™. This lot will include a Statement of Provenance signed by Neil Armstrong's sons, Rick and Mark.
