Iconic Original Photograph of the Surrender Signing Aboard the U.S.S. Missouri, Twice-Signed by Admiral Chester Nimitz.One of the most sought-after autographed photos of World War II, it is signed by Nimitz "C. W. Nimitz U. S. Representative" by his right hand and also inscribed on the mount below: "To Eleanor and Polk Dodson - with best wishes and warmest regards. C. W. Nimitz, Fleet Admiral U. S. Navy." The photo itself measures 7" x 9.5" and is affixed to the original 14" x 11" mount. A perfect companion piece to display along with the Missouri flag presented in this auction.
