FIRST EDITION in book form, FIRST PRINTING. Third or fourth binding with 4 pages of ads at rear dated: "5R-1083." The phrase "dead man's chest" is not capitalized on pp. 2 or 7; "7" is stamped in the pagination on p. 127; the period is dropped in line 20 on p. 178.

Condition: Cloth stained and rubbed, corners bumped, spine ends pushed and a bit frayed, other edgewear. Front hinge cracked, rear hinge cracked and just holding, somewhat leaned, textblock over-opened, a few scattered stains.
