Description

8th Cavalry Officer's Dress Coat.

Dark blue wool six-button jacket with standup collar, yellow piping on the cuffs, shoulder straps and collar. Complete with orange shoulder cord with waffle medallion and tassels. There is a "U.S." brass insignia on the collar, as well as two cavalry emblems (Company B 8th Cavalry). Interior label reads: "JL99 CCW-GWW". Green cotton twill lining. Missing one front button and two shoulder strap buttons. Name of owner, F. Weber, written on lining. Scattered soiling. Very good overall.
