Description
Civil and Spanish-American War Memorial Posters.1) 19" x 22.5" poster printed in black and pale blue circa 1865 by D. C. Baker & Company of New York, titled "Soldier's Memorial". This example covers Company D 20th Regiment Michigan Infantry Volunteers, 1st Division, 9th Army Corps. Even toning, light board burn, a few small stains. Good overall. 2) 18" x 22" reprise version of #1, issued for the "Spanish-American War of 1898. Company M Fourth Regiment N. J. National Guard Volunteer Infantry." Mounted to board, 7" vertical tear at bottom, fold lines and tears at top. Good overall. From the Don Limpert Collection.
