Description
Winchester Falling Block Single Shot Rifle with Custom Barrel.Serial no. 31528, 6mm Krag caliber, 26-inch round stainless steel J.W. VAN PATTEN custom barrel. Blued receiver. Checkered walnut pistolgrip stock and fore-end. Cheekrest. Horn grip cap. Grooved hard rubber White Line buttplate.
Note: John W. Van Patten was the owner and operator of J.W. Van Patten Gunsmith, in Milford, PA.
Condition: Very good. Some noticeable handling wear and pitting to receiver. Wood showing minimal wear. Minor rubber loss and heavy cracking to buttplate. Action crisp. Bright bore.
