Description

Late 19th Century Constable Badge Identified to T. W. Mansfield.

2 1/2-inches in diameter. Pinback. No maker's mark. One piece construction with five-pointed star within a border. The badge is hand-engraved "T. W. MANSFIELD. CONSTABLE 1st WARD". Cursory research might place the origin of the badge in Ohio, but more research is warranted.

Condition: Some light spotting and wear, otherwise good condition.
