Description
Colt 1855 Sidehammer Revolving Shotgun.Serial no. 4857, 20 gauge, 22-inch barrel with fixed front sight. Case hardened hammer and lever. Smooth walnut straight stock and fore-end. Grooved metal buttplate.
Property from the Estate of Robert (Bobby) Palazzo, Westlake Village, Ca.
Condition: Good. Finish a smooth grey patina with noticeable areas of handling wear, age and pitting. Fore-end loose from barrel, adhesive stain around both. Poorly done carvings to each side of stock. Scattered scuffs and dings present to wood. Action functions. Moderately pitted bore.
