Description
U.S. Remington Model 03-A3 Bolt Action Rifle with Bayonet.Serial no. 3732124, .30 caliber, 24 3/4-inch barrel with standard military sights. Parkerized finish. Top of barrel marked: RA / (flaming bomb) / 4 - 43. Smooth hardwood straight stock with sling swivels and stacking swivel. Leather shoulder sling. Checkered metal buttplate with cleaning tool reservoir. 16-inch bayonet with scabbard, ricasso marked: US / 264621 and RIA / (flaming bomb) / 1917.
Condition: Very good to excellent. Overall showing light handling wear and very fine patches of pitting. Few scattered dings and scuffs present to wood. Action good. Strong bore. From the Sylver Schaller Collection.
