Description
Italian Copy of U.S. Whitneyville Dragoon Single Action Revolver.Serial no. 797 [barrel, frame, triggerguard, cylinder and butt], .44 caliber, 9-inch barrel with fixed front sight. Blued and case-hardened finish. US / 1847 stamped to right side of barrel. Various Italian proof marks. Brass triggerguard. Smooth walnut one-piece grip.
Condition: Very good. Overall showing light handling wear and very fine spots of pitting. Few scuffs and scratches present to wood. Crisp action. Strong bore. Nelson A. Faerber Collection.
