Engraved German Sempert & Krieghoff Drilling Combination Gun with Telescopic Sight.Serial no. 21620, 16 gauge and .32 calibers, 23 1/2-inch barrels with fixed front sight and folding rear leaf sights. Blued finish. Elaborately scroll and floral engraved receiver. Dual Triggers. Checkered walnut pistolgrip stock and splinter fore-end. Horn triggerguard. Sling swivels. Rubber recoil pad. Mounted Carl Zeiss Jena Zielvier telescopic sight. Original brass museum inventory tag attached: J.M. DAVIS / 8479 / MEMORIAL.
Sold to Benefit The JM Davis Collection at the JM Davis Arms and Historical Museum.
Condition: Good. Retaining approximately 90-92% finish, with thinning at muzzle, scattered signs of handling wear and patches of pitting. Heavy dings and scuffs present to wood. Action good. Strong bores. Optics clear.
