Description
French MAS 1949-56 49/56 Semi-Automatic Rifle with Bayonet.Serial no. G42222, 7.5mm caliber, 20-inch barrel with ventilated muzzle and standard military sights. Parkerized finish. Left side of receiver marked: MAS MLE 1949-56 / CAL. 7.5 / P81. Smooth walnut pistolgrip stock and fore-end with sling swivels and rubber recoil pad. 14-inch bayonet with 8-inch blade and metal scabbard.
Condition: Very good. Retaining approximately 94-96% finish with some handling wear and very fine patches of pitting. Few minor scuffs present to wood. Crisp action. Strong bore.
