WWI: Orange County, California Victory Medallion Awarded to Lieutenant William H. Warren With Miscellaneous Insignia.

Includes: 1) Gilded-bronze, 77 mm, medallion presented by Orange County to WWI veterans. The obverse reads WORLD WAR HEROES / VICTORY / 1917 / 1919/ IN APPRECIATION / TO THOSE WHO SERVED FREEDOM'S CAUSE / FROM ORANGE COUNTY / CALIFORNIA. The reverse is engraved "Lt. Wm. H. Warren" and captioned PRESENTED BY / ORANGE COUNTY WAR SERVICE / RECOGNITION ASSOCIATION. The medallion is sold with the fitted case of issue. The consignor notes that Warren served in the 91st Division during the war. Included in the lot are Warren's service hat eagle, a pair of gilded-brass 2nd Lieutenant's shoulder rank insignia, a single gilded-brass "US" collar insignia, infantry officers' collar insignia, two "CAL." collar insignia, a US national guard collar insignia and a subdued "US" collar insignia.

Condition: All examples in overall very good condition.
