Description
German Erfurt 1920 Kar 98 Bolt Action Rifle.Serial no. 7137 [receiver] and 7777 / 93 [floorplate], 8mm caliber, 24 1/2-inch barrel with standard military sights. Blued finish. Top of receiver marked: 1920 / (crown) / ERFURT / 1918. Walnut stock with metal buttplate, stacking hook and bayonet lug. Various German proof marks. Leather shoulder sling.
Condition: Good. Retaining approximately 60-70% of a dull finish, with scattered signs of handling wear and fine patches of pitting. Dings and scuffs present to wood. Crisp action. Strong bore.
