Description
WWII Japanese Army Officers' Sword. 25 ¾-inch bright blade with nice wavy temper line; 36 ½-inches overall. Brass tsuba with standard four cherry blossom design. Cloth-wrapped white ray skin handle with standard three cherry blossom menuki. Brown painted metal scabbard with one mounting ring.Condition: Excellent. Blade remains bright with some small areas of dark spots. Ray skin covering on the handle near the mekugi cracked and chipped. Light wear to scabbard.
