Group of Three Japanese Yanone (Yajiri) With Cut-Out Inome.A lot of three beautiful Yanone, the traditional arrowheads of Japan showcasing the artistry and purpose of Japanese archery. The lot includes: 1) Karimata, 2-inches; 4 ½-inches overall. 2) A fine yanone with pierced heart design, 2 ½-inches; 6 ¼-inches overall. 3) 2-inches; 6-inches overall. The pierced-heart design, known as inome or "boar's eye" was believed to ward off misfortune and bring strength to the archer.
Condition: Excellent.
