Description
German Exceptional Late-War Mauser byf 45 Bolt Action Rifle.Serial no. 30541, 7.92x57 caliber, 24 ½-inch barrel with adjustable rear and hooded fixed front sight. Phosphate finish with visible tooling marks on the receiver characteristic of late-war production. Blued bolt. Left side of receiver with eagle and serial number. Top of receiver marked "Mod. 98 / byf 45". Bolt and receiver numbers matching. Stamped trigger guard and floor plate marked "byf". Milled front barrel band, stamped and welded rear barrel band. Cupped butt plate. Rough, late-war laminated stock. Complete with cleaning rod and brown leather sling. No import stamps.
Condition: Excellent. Likely unissued as it exhibits only minor storage wear. Bright bore.
