Description
British B.S.A. Lee-Speed Bolt Action Rifle.Serial no. 17892, 30-inch barrel with adjustable rear and fixed front sights. Blued finish. Numbers matching on the bolt, barrel and rear sight. Right side of butt socket marked "LEE-SPEED / PATENT / B.S.A. Co." Receiver marked "FOR CORDITE ONLY". Stacked rifle trademark etched on top of the Knox form. Brass butt plate with trap for oiler and pull through. Volley sights and magazine cut off.
Condition: About very good. Nice finish left to metal; the stock shows moderate to heavy wear with scattered bruises, dings and dents. Heavy gouging on the wrist just aft of the butt socket. Bright bore.
