Description
Remington New Model Single Action Revolver.Serial no. 63981 [frame under grips], .44 caliber, 8-inch octagonal barrel with fixed front sight and frame notch rear sight. Blued and case-hardened finish. M.B. stamped to right side of frame. Brass triggerguard. Smooth walnut grip panels, faint cartouche to left panel.
Condition: Very good. Retaining traces of finish, the balance a smooth grey patina with scattered signs of handling wear, age and patches of pitting. Scuffs and dings present to wood. Action functions. Moderately pitted bore.
