Argentine D.G.F.M.-(F.M.A.P) Model 1927 Semi-Automatic Pistol.Serial no. 51933 [frame, slide and barrel], 11.25mm caliber [.45 ACP], 5-inch barrel with fixed front and rear sights. Blued finish. Left side of slide marked: D.G.F.M - (F.M.A.P.). Right side of slide stamped: EJERCITO ARGENTINO / SIST. COLT CAL. 11.25mm. MOD. 1927. Checkered hard rubber grip panels. Grip safety. Lanyard ring. Base of magazine numbered: 51933. The Model 1927 is an Argentine-licensed production of the iconic Colt M1911A1 pistol, manufactured by the Dirección General de Fabricaciones Militares (D.G.F.M.), specifically at their Rosario factory known as Fábrica Militar de Armas Portátiles (F.M.A.P.), named after Domingo Matheu.
Condition: Very good. Retaining approximately 95-97% finish with honest handling wear, few scuffs and fine patches of pitting. Crisp action. Bright bore. Tom Mixon Collection
