Large Lot of Twelve 19th Century Police and Military Waist Belt Plates.Including: 1) Generic Police belt plate, gilt die-struck brass. 2) Cleveland Police waist belt plate, silvered brass. 3) New Orleans Crescent City Police waist belt plate, die struck brass. 4) Early 1900 Boston Police (Bostonia Condita) waist belt plate, two-piece construction, silvered-brass. 5) Unidentified cast CCP waist belt plate. 6) Pennsylvania Militia State Fencibles "S.F" waist belt plate, die-struck brass. 7) Chicago Police waist belt plate, brass with applied stars and letters. 8) National Guard waist belt plate, gilt die-cast brass bearing the letters "NG". 9) U.S. Artillery Officers' waist belt plate, gilt die-cast brass. 10) Small oval US waist belt plate, die-stamped brass with lead backing. 11) U.S. Army officers' waist belt plate, gilt die-cast brass. 12) Post Civil War Confederate waist belt plate. Gilt cast brass.
Condition: All examples show varying signs of wear with some loss to gilt, a few bent belt loops, etc. Otherwise they are generally in very good condition.
