Smith & Wesson Model 1950 Double Action Revolver.

Serial no. S146329 [frame], .45 caliber, 6 1/2-inch barrel with fixed front sight and micrometer adjust rear sight. Blued finish. Case-hardened hammer and trigger. Checkered walnut grip panels with inlaid S&W medallions. The Model 1950 was introduced by Smith & Wesson on February 27, 1950. It was designed as a large-frame, double-action revolver-part of the "Hand Ejector" series-and was chambered in .45 ACP with six-round swing-out cylinders. Approximately 2,768 units were produced before it was discontinued in 1961.

Condition: Very good. Retaining approximately 94-96% finish with some thinning at muzzle, light handling wear and very fine spots of pitting. Faint tracking line to cylinder. Crisp action. Strong bore. Tom Mixon Collection
