Description
Gene Cernan Signed Apollo 17 Training-Used "EVA 3 Prep/ Post EVA 3" Cue Cards. Two 10.5" x 8" heavyweight cue cards, printed on both sides, taped together and with a taped-on hanging tab at top. It is signed on the top card: "Gene Cernan/ Apollo XVII-CDR". These four pages of detailed instructions were used by Cernan in training for the mission. The third Extra-Vehicular Activity on Apollo 17 took place on December 13, 1972. Cernan, upon completion of that EVA, re-entered the lunar module and was, to this date, the last man to walk on the moon. The tape has turned yellow as expected, otherwise in extremely fine condition.Auction Info
