Colt Single Action Army Revolver with Factory Letter.

Serial no. 32333 [frame, triggerguard and butt], 2333 [on cyl] .45 caliber, 4 3/4-inch barrel with fixed front sight and frame notch rear sight. Nickel-plated finish. Top of barrel marked: COLT'S PT. F.A. MFG. CO. HARTFORD CT. U.S.A. Two-line, two-date patent to left side of frame. .45 CAL stamped to left side of triggerbow. Smooth one-piece grip. Sold along with a copy of the Colt factory letter. Gun was shipped to J.P. Moores Sons in New York City in a shipment of 39. Manufactured in 1876.

Condition: Very good as refinished [barrel possibly shortened]. Overall showing scattered signs of handling wear and patches of pitting. Action needs adjustment. Moderately pitted bore.
