U.S. Cavalry Colt Single Action Revolver, Henry Nettleton Inspected.

Serial no. 18279 [frame], 2958 [triggerguard and 7506 [cylinder], .45 caliber, 5 1/2-inch barrel with fixed front sight and frame notch rear sight. Top of barrel marked: COLT'S PT. F.A. MFG . CO. HARTFORD CT. U.S.A. Two-line, two-date patent and U.S. stamped to left side of frame. NH inspector mark to cylinder. Smooth walnut one-piece grip. Manufactured in 1875.

Condition: Good as partially cleaned. Overall the balance a bright grey patina with scattered signs of handling wear and patches of pitting. Scuffs and dings present to wood, some loss at corners. Action good. Strong bore.
