Description
Joe Bowman Custom & Engraved Sturm Ruger Vaquero Model Single Action Revolver.Serial no. 56-88141 [frame], .45 caliber, 7 1/2-inch barrel with fixed front blade sight and frame notch rear sight. Nickel-plated finish. Custom engraved ejector rod housing. Modified hammer by Joe himself. Smooth hardwood grip panels with inlaid Ruger medallions. Bowman favored Ruger single-action revolvers, particularly the Ruger Vaquero and Blackhawk models, which were ideal for the Old West-style shooting he was known for.
Condition: Very good. Overall showing scattered signs of handling wear, scratches and very fine spots of pitting. Few scuffs present to wood. Crisp action. Bright bore. From Joe Bowman "The Straight Shooter Collection".
