Joe Bowman Personally Worn / Handmade "Flying Heart" Themed Cowboy Boots.

Center of the boots feature a "Flying Heart", as he calls it according to family notes. Resembles a similar style of the Ruger hawk, which was his biggest supporter and sponsor over the years. Predominantly blue, black and red leather make up the rest of the boots decorative features. Each measuring 17-inches in overall height. Heel to toe is 13-inches. These were handcrafted, designed and worn by Mr. Bowman, in his size 12.
Joe Bowman (1925-2009) was a renowned Houston-based bootmaker, marksman, and Western entertainer, affectionately known as "The Straight Shooter." His custom-crafted boots were highly sought after, with notable clients including Roy Rogers, for whom he made two pairs now displayed at the Roy Rogers-Dale Evans Museum.
