Lot of Two Joe Bowman Boxed Colt Reissue 1862 Blackpowder Percussion Revolvers.Comprising: 1.) 1862 Pocket Model F1500 Percussion Revolver. Serial no. 52991 [barrel, frame, triggerguard, cylinder and butt], .36 caliber, 5 1/2-inch octagonal barrel with fixed front sight. Blued and case-hardened finish. Etched cylinder scene. Smooth walnut one-piece grip. 2.) 1862 Navy Model F1400 Percussion Revolver. Serial no. 53110 [barrel, frame, triggerguard and butt], .36 caliber, 5 1/2-inch barrel with fixed front sight. Blued and case-hardened finish. Fluted cylinder. Smooth walnut one-piece grip. Each contained in factory pasteboard box with literature and caution hang tags. Also included, typed receipt for both revolvers with the ATTN Joe Bowman.
Condition: Very good. Each overall showing light handling wear and very fine spots of pitting. Actions are frozen. Strong bores. From Joe Bowman "The Straight Shooter Collection"
