Description
Cased Le Petit Protector Ring Revolver AKA "Ring Pistol".Unserialized, 4mm pinfire caliber, 3/8-inch chamber, six-shot cylinder. Fire-blued and steel finish. Scroll engraved shank reading: LE PETIT PROTECTOR. Weight: 40.8 grams. Contained in original fitted case with felt lining. Sold along with five cartridges and screwdriver. Function and purpose: The miniature weapon was not very effective due to the weak force of the tiny 2mm and 4mm pinfire cartridges. It was likely meant to be more of a deterrent than a fatal weapon. For collectors, the craftsmanship is more significant than its lethality.
Condition: Very good to excellent. Overall showing very light handling wear. Some minor storage wear present to box and felt.
