Description
Remounted Bottle Opener Spurs from C.P.Shipley.C.P.Shipley single-mounted bottle opener spurs. 6-point, 1-inch star rowels on 2-inch hooked shank. Rocker-engraved to off side of shank. Heel bands with rocker-engraved arrow. Fixed, engraved buttons. Inside of heelbands with re-struck Shipley and Kansas City, Mo. maker's mark.
Provenance: Roger and Linda Carpenter Collection.
Condition: Good as completely remounted. Shanks have been welded. Moderate age wear and patina. Maker's marks are not original. Silver overlays are fine. Scattered fine pitting and staining.
