This is a 1/3 scale Model 1883 Gatling gun on a brass field carriage made by Karl Furr of Orem, Utah.

Furr 1883 Gatling Gun.
Serial no. 40, .22 short rimfire, 11 3/4-inch 10-barrel cluster. Mid-barrel band marked: MANUF'D BY/ COLT'S PAT MFG F A CO / USA / HARTFORD CONN. Small circular plaque behind the breech is hand-engraved: GATLING GUN/PATENTED. On the end of the barrel cluster is also hand-engraved: MODEL 1883/NO 40 / CAL.22. Rear of the barrel cluster with two spirit levels. Hand-engraved maker's signature under the barrel cluster reading: "Made by, Karl J. Furr and Paul Kuhni, November 1971. Orem, Utah. " 18" diameter wheels with beautiful highly figured black walnut spokes, brass hubs, and brass tires. Axle-mounted between the wheels are two brass ammunition boxes with hinged lids containing a total of three Accles drum magazines. Each drum is serial numbered to the gun and holds 64 rounds. Gun rate of fire: approximately 800 rounds per minute. Must be shipped to an FFL dealer. This is not classed as a class III machine gun. If you can own a rifle, shotgun, or pistol, you can legally own this masterpiece in most states.

Condition: Fine. Light age wear and patina. Light spotting to brass.
