Description
Cased Winchester Model 1873 Lever Action Rifle with Factory Letter.Serial no. 178940, .32 caliber, 24-inch round barrel with fixed front sight and rear elevation right. Blued finish. Case-hardened hammer, lever and buttplate. Smooth walnut straight stock and fore-end. Manufactured in 1885. Contained in fitted carrying case with green felt lining. Sold along with factory letter dated March 10, 2014, confirming specifics and ship date.
Condition: Excellent. Retaining approximately 96-98% finish with light handling wear and a few very fine spots of pitting. Some scattered scratches and dings present to wood. Crisp action. Strong bore.
