Colt Second Generation Single Action Army Revolver.

Serial no. 39917SA [frame], .357 magnum caliber, 7 1/2-inch barrel with fixed front blade sight and frame notch rear sight. Blued and case-hardened finish. Two-line, three-date patent and Rampant Colt logo to left side of frame. Colt address to top of barrel. Rampant Colt / E. Pluribus Unum Eagle checkered grip panels. Manufactured in 1964.
After World War II, Colt resumed production of the SAA in response to the growing popularity of Western movies and television shows, which romanticized the Old West and the firearms associated with it. This period of production is known as the Second Generation of the Colt SAA.

Condition: Very good. Retaining approximately 94-96% finish with some thinning to relief edges and light handling wear. Faint tracking line to cylinder. Action crisp. Bore bright. From the Collection of James Schubert.
