Description
Engraved British Guildford Piper Percussion Pistol with Bayonet.Unserialized, approximately .56 caliber, 7-inch octagonal barrel with 5-inch spring-loaded bayonet. Top of barrel marked: GUILDFORD. Scroll engraved hammer, lock and triggerguard. Lock stamped: PIPER. Checkered hardwood stock with wooden ramrod. Silver oval escutcheon to top of wrist.
Condition: Very good. Finish primarily a smooth grey patina with scattered handling wear and fine patches of pitting. Dings, scuffs and scratches present to wood. Action good. Strong bore.
