Colt 1851 Navy Model Percussion Revolver.

Serial no. 128532 [barrel, frame, triggerguard and butt] and 8532 [cylinder], .36 caliber, 7 1/2-inch octagonal barrel with fixed front sight. Blued and case-hardened finish. Top of barrel marked: ADDRESS COL SAML COLT NEW-YORK U.S. AMERICA. COLT'S / PATENT to left side of frame. Etched cylinder scene. S inspector mark stamped to base of frame, below serial number. Brass triggerguard. Smooth walnut one-piece grip. Manufactured in 1862.

Condition: Very good. Finish primarily a smooth grey patina with scattered signs of age, handling wear and patches of pitting. Dings and scuffs present to wood. Action a little tight, but functions. Strong bore.
