Description
Inscribed J. Henry & Son Percussion Cadet Rifle.Unserialized, approximately .58 caliber, 33-inch barrel with fixed front sight. Blued finish. Top of barrel and lock marked: J. HENRY / & SONS. Smooth walnut straight full-stock. Two brass barrel bands. Sling swivels and metal ramrod. Brass buttplate. Lower tang inscribed: JOS. R. ANDERSON.
Condition: Good. Finish primarily a dark grey patina with scattered areas of handling wear and patches of pitting. Noticeable scuffs and dings present to wood, loss around lock. Small crack to left side of wrist. Action good. Moderately pitted bore.
