Description
U.S. 1851 North / Hall Breechloading Percussion Saddle Ring Carbine.Unserialized, .52 caliber, 21-inch barrel with fixed front and rear sights. Top of breech marked: U.S. / S. NORTH / MIDLTN. / CONN. / 1851. Saddle ring. Smooth hardwood straight stock with metal ramrod. Metal carbine butt.
Condition: Very good. Finish primarily a dark grey patina, with noticeable signs of age, handling wear and patches of pitting. Scattered scuffs, dings and bruising present to wood. Action good. Moderately pitted bore.
