18th Century Italian Snaphaunce Pistol by Lazaro Lazarino.
Unserialized, approximately .48 caliber. 12-inch barrel, round transitioning to octagonal at the breech. Barrel with simple floral engraving on the top of the breech and tip of the muzzle. Marked "LAZARO LAZARINO" on the top of the breech. Lock with light engraving and figural motif behind the hammer. The frizzen features a mermaid motif. Stock carved in relief and enhanced with several German silver ornaments including a pierced floral side plate with bust of an unknown individual, trigger guard and butt. Belt hook mounted to the left side of the stock. Ram rod. The pistol measures 17 ½-inches overall.

Condition: Very good. Metal with an overall smooth gray patina with some scattered dark spots and light pitting. Lacks frizzen spring. Hammer needs adjustment to stay cocked. Stock with modest handling wear.
