Description
Cased Remington Beals patent First Model Pocket Revolver.Serial no. 81 [right side of barrel], .31 caliber, 3-inch octagonal barrel with fixed front bead sight. Blued finish. Top of revolver marked: REMINGTONS / ILION N.Y. Brass triggerguard. 5-shot cylinder. Hard rubber grip panels and grip cap. Contained in fitted wood display case with felt lining. Sold along with bullet mold, powder flask, percussion caps in tin and key.
Condition: Very good. Finish primarily a dull grey patina with handling wear and fine patches of pitting. Action not working. Lightly pitted bore. Some age and storage wear present to case.
