Description
Civil War: Album of Patriotic Covers. We count 226 unused patriotic covers in this collection, assembled during the Civil War. They are housed in a 6" x 10" album with marbled boards. The leather spine has gilt lettering that reads: "Patriotic Envelope Album. Baker". The covers are affixed to either side of album leaves with the exception of 39 covers which are loose. There are many unusual varieties and all appear complete.Auction Info
