Gerald Ford: Cased Set of George Washington Camp Cups. Set of four sterling silver cups, reproduced from the 1780 Washington "camp cups" in the Mabel Garvan Collection. The originals were made on order by Richard Humphreys. These were made by International Silver Company of Meriden, Connecticut and are 1.75" tall. They are housed in a velvet-lined, custom wooden case with a brass plaque on the lid engraved "Gerald R. Ford". It is accompanied by the factory booklet giving the history of the cup. Proceeds of this auction will be used for the new Student Learning Center being developed by the Gerald R. Ford Presidential Foundation. This lot will be accompanied by a letter of authenticity signed by Steve Ford.
